Description Oregon bridge removal and rapid replacement project funded by FHWA, Highways for LIFE, located north of Ontario, on US 30. Two bridge spans over the Burnt River and the Union Pacific Railroad were removed and replaced with a 162’ x 32’, two lane plus shoulders structure. Precast prestressed bulb–tee girders span from the north to south abutments. Precast deck construction panels span the full width of the bridge with no longitudinal joints. The new bridge is designed to last more than 75 years.
