Description
English: STERIA computer center with stacked hard disk controllers in the foreground (<<Balloons>> whose capacity was around 7 MB). Minitel and interactive television project tested in Vélizy in the Paris suburbs. Beginnings of telematics with Teletel 3V. One of the objectives was to replace the paper directory with the electronic directory.
Français : Centre informatique STERIA avec au premier plan des controleurs de disques durs empilés (<<Gamelles>> dont la capacité était de l'ordre de 7 MO). Projet du Minitel et de télévision interactive expérimentés à Vélizy en banlieue parisienne. Débuts de la télématique avec Teletel 3V. Un des objectifs était le remplacement de l'annuaire papier par l'annuaire électronique.
