| Description |
Nederlands: Concessiepaal gelegen aan de oostelijke rand van natuurgebied Bargerveen, nabij de Duits-Nederlandse landsgrens. Dergelijke palen werden geplaatst om het productieveld van de Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij te markeren, specifiek de hoeken van het veld. De afgebeelde paal is circa 1948 geplaatst en is tevens het enige overgebleven exemplaar.
De paal is gemaakt van beton en geplaatst op een fundament met een diepte van 4,5 meter. Oorspronkelijk is de paal op maaiveldhoogte geplaatst, echter door inklinking van het hoogveen is dit niveau gedaald waardoor een deel van het fundament zichtbaar is. |
