Summary edit

Description
English: Colorized postcard of the original Congregational Church in Billings, Montana. The church was built in 1883 on the corner of 3rd Ave. N. and N. 27th St. with funds donated by the Billings family. It was the first church built in the young city. In the late 1920s, the east facade was extended and a Parish Wing was added to the north. The old church was demolished in 1956 and replaced with a larger building on the same site. The modern church is known as First Congregational United Church of Christ ("Billings First Church").
