Español: La antigua Legislatura o Congreso de la Nación se edificó en 1863 y se inauguró en mayo del año siguiente con un discurso del vicepresidente Marcos Paz. Construido en la ochava de las actuales calles Hipólito Irigoyen y Balcarce por el arquitecto Jonás Larguía, el histórico edificio se conserva parcialmente en el interior del edificio donde funciona la Academia Nacional de la Historia. Calle empedrada, vías férreas, rejas artísticas y faroles de gas. |
