Français : Un des 4 convertisseurs basiques Pierce-Smith de 25 pieds de longs et 10 pieds de diamètres de la fonderie de cuivre de Coniston. Il produisait une matte à 14% copper, 41% nickel, 17% soufre and <1% fer. La matte était coulée en lingots et envoyée au Royaume-Uni.
English: On of the four Pierce-Smith basic converters 25 ft 10 in. long by 10 ft in diameter of the Coniston nickel smelter. It produced a converter matte with 14% copper, 41% nickel, 17% sulphur and <1% iron. The matte was casted into ingots and sent to the United Kigdom.
