Images of construction workers preparing concrete mortar during the corrugation of a concrete slab in Embu County, Eastern Kenya, East Africa. Construction work was for a long time a reserve for men, but today women are making inroads into the job. Three women can be seen in these photos hauling water, sand, and ballast.
