DescriptionContainers through Cardiff - geograph.org.uk - 1528198.jpg |
English: Containers through Cardiff 47533 brings an eastbound train of containers into Cardiff station.
The signal box on the left of this photo has been demolished. On the right, on the other side of the River Taff, houses on Tudor Street can be seen along with the Royal Tudor public house on the corner and shops opposite. The pub carries the famous beer advert, 'It's Brains you want' - though drinkers beware, Brains SA wasn't affectionately know as Skull Attack for nothing! The pub and the corner shops have been replaced with a modern housing development, though the main terraces remain. |
