tüsschen Kapt. Joseph Frederics van Bethanie
Groot-Namaqualand en F.A.E. Lüderitz te
Bremen in Duitschland.
Op den huidigen dag, den 25 Augustus
1883 (vijf en twintigsten Augustus een duizend
acht honderd drie en tachtig) heeft Kapt.
Joseph Frederics van Bethanie een gedeelte
zijns lands, namelijk de geheele kust van
de Groot- of Orange-rivier af tot den zes en
twintigsten graad zuider breedte met inbe-
grip van alle havens in baaien, mitsgaders
het land tot twintig geograph'sche mijlen
landwaards, van elken punt der Kust uit-
berekend - aan de Firma F.A.E. Lüderitz
te Bremen in Duitschland, tegen 60 (zestig)
Wesley-Richard geweren, en 500£ (vijf honderd
 
 
 
 
honderd Pond in goud) verkocht en afgegeven.
Door de onderteekening des Verkoopers, verklaart
dezelve te gelyker tijd het boven bekustend lands-
gedeelte afgegeven, als ook de 60 (zestig) Wesley-
Richard geweren en 500£ (vijf honderd Pond in
goud) ontvangen te hebben.
De Kooper van zijne zijde, verklaart door zijne
handteekening te gelijker tijd de inbezitneming
van het gekoopte land, als ook de overlevering
der 60 (zestig) Wesley-Richard geweren en 500£
(vijf honderd pond in goud).
