Santuário panorâmico servido por uma notável escadaria de 292 degraus, empedrados entre 1846 e 1862. A capela da Senhora da Piedade, ou do Monte, foi mandada edificar por um fiel de D. João I, alcaide de Óbidos, em 1387, que lhe doou 15 casais que possuía. Ao interior do vasto templo acede-se por uma simples porta ogival, antecedida por um alpendre, sustentado por pilares toscanos, que se prolonga para os lados.
