English: Converted Cottages-Kiln Rd These cottages were once lived in by workers who worked in a pottery which was situated down the hill behind them. The pottery made clay pots, tiles and chimneys. They do not bear any similarity to the original buildings which were virtually derelict. I'm surprised anyone thought they were worth doing up. They are probably twice the size of the original cottages. |
