Summary edit

Description

The corn is picked mechanically with this yellow gadget first thing in the morning as soon as it starts getting light. The machine cuts off a stalk and pulls it between two rollers, which break off the ears of corn. The stalk is then thrown back on the field and the corn is dumped into the wagon.

This is not our farm. We're not large enough to grow corn and this farmer does a much better job than I would so we buy it from him. Also, we don't have a major commuting highway next to our farm (although it does get busy at times).

Guess which direction is toward Boston?
