English: The sun shines on a ‘welcome’ sign greeting visitors to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District’s public scoping meetings for the Delta Islands and Levees Feasibility Study Feb. 19, 2013, at the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg, Calif. An additional meeting was held Feb. 20 in Sacramento. The public scoping meetings are the first step in the planning process for the study, which will determine potential Corps participation in flood risk management and ecosystem restoration projects in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.
