Summary edit

Description A helicopter lifts roof top air handling units to the new St. John's Interim Hospital Project in Joplin, Mo., on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012. The interim hospital is being built from 273 modular units manufactured in California and assembled in Joplin. A U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District team is managing an approximately $4.7 million site work contract in support of the interim hospital. The project is running 24 hours a day, seven days a week with a completion, or interim hospital activitation date, of April 1, 2012. The aerial lift of the roof top units was done to meet this aggressive schedule. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers photo by Kevin Lynch.
