Description
English: Mexican corridista musician Marciano Silva, born either in 1849 or 1857 in Morelos and died in February 1944, was the writer and composer of various songs during the Mexican Revolution in the 1910s, when he enlisted for the army of Emiliano Zapata. This is an authentic photograph of this musician. There exists another photograph of another muscian of the period named Federico Becerra which has been confused with Marciano Silva's.
Español: Músico corridista mexicano Marciano Silva, nacido en 1849 o 1857 en Morelos y fallecido en febrero de 1944, fue el escritor y compositor de varias canciones durante la Revolución mexicana en la década de 1910, cuando se unió al ejército de Emiliano Zapata. Esta es una fotografía auténtica del músico. Existe otra fotografía de otro músico de la época llamado Federico Becerra que se ha confundido con la de Marciano Silva.
