Description

Today I went for a long walk around my area of west Christchurch - and boy, am I glad I did! The amount of interesting vehicles I have never seen before - and now photographed, may I add, was incredible - and I've lived in this area since 2006! Less than five minutes into my walk I glanced up the driveway of a house and nearly wet myself when I saw these two! The blue car is a 1975 Cortina and I believe the yellow car to the left is a MkII Escort Estate. God knows what's under the cover in front of the Cortina - but it's most likely another Ford. This is the SECOND MkIII Cortina I've seen in my area, and the other one - seen earlier in my photostream was less than ten minutes' walk away! This was taken on a considerable zoom as the driveway was rather long. In respect to the owner I will not be disclosing the exact location of these cars, but they are in west Christchurch, in a suburban area near the city fringe...

BTW: Just realised I have now got 1,012 views! Thanks to everyone who has viewed my photostream in the three months I have been on Flickr. =)
