Description

I had the privilege to take part recently on an architectural guided tour of Bucharest, the capital city of Romania. The guide was Mr Valentin Mandache, an expert on architectural history of Romania spanning from the 19th century to mid 20th.

We visited only a tiny part of Bucharest but throughout about 2+ hours we’ve got a huge amount of information, both visual and verbal, which is hard to beat by no matter how comprehensible a guide book can be.

All my b&w photos presented under the titles Cotroceni 1 to 12 represents a small selection of frames taken during the tour. Invaluable experience- highly recommended if you get the chance.
