| Description |
English: Cottages in Dunan Almost all of the houses along this part of the A87 Broadford to Portree road are on the seaward side of the road. The reason is that the cottages were built before the road, when access by water was easier than over land. The blue bungalow here may well have been built in the 1960s, at about the time when the modern road was built, though the white cottage beyond is older. |
