Summary

Description

English: In mid May black bears are foraging at Cades Cove after a long hibernation. Mother bears with their young cubs, anywhere from two cubs to four cubs, were seen coming out of the woods. Eager and excited visitors were snapping pictures too uncomfortably close to these families of bears despite posted signs warning visitors to steer clear from the black bears. I used a long telephoto lens to maintain a safe distance!
