Français : DÉBUT 1940 :

Arrivée en petit nombre en Indochine, d'entiers carte postale Baie d'Along à 8 cts et légende RF sur papier épais de mauvaise qualité (tarif de 1939 pour les relations franco-coloniales et inter-coloniales) (ACEP No CP 24). Ils ne seront que très peu utilisés. Ils sont l'équivalent des entiers carte postale au type Iris à 80c de métropole.

On connaît des utilisations locales en 1941 et en 1945 pendant l'occupation japonaise avec complément d'affranchissement. Le reliquat sera utilisé fin 1945 lors de la reprise du courrier vers la métropole.

Entier postal à 8 cts "RF" utilisé en service intérieur 21/12/41 alors que le tarif de la carte postale intérieure est à 4 cts (il était alors très difficile de trouver en Indochine des cartes postales illustrées du commerce qu'avaient acheté en grand nombre les Japonais.
