Possibilité d'envoi de cartes postales non illustrées de métropole vers l'Indochine via l'Allemagne (censure "e" de Francfort), la Turquie et le transsibérien. Quelques cartes entier postal partiront par cette voie entre mai et août 1942 et arriveront en Indochine en septembre 1943 !

Fragment de Cp de nancy vers cantho en mai 1942 fragment d'entier carte postale Pétain à 80c de Nancy 16/5/42 pour Ban Me Thuot (Annam), réexpédiée à Cantho (Cochinchine). Mention manuscrite "reçue le 13/9/43". Censure allemande de Francfort et cachet de vaguemestre en transit.

Vu le tarif et le fait que la carte ne soit pas taxée, il est vraisemblable qu'elle avait été mise à la poste avant le changement de tarif (de 80c à 1f20) et gardée en réserve par la poste jusqu'à ce qu'une opportunité d'acheminement se présente.
