Summary

edit
Description
English: Cricket House This Regency mansion has 14th-century origins, but was rebuilt and considerably modified around 1820 for Sir Alexander Hood under the direction of Sir John Soane and surrounded by a park designed by Capability Brown. It is now a hotel, surrounded by the 46-acre wildlife park.

The house was also well-known for a while as 'Grantleigh Manor' of the television series 'To the Manor Born' and as 'Crinkley Bottom', the theme park created by Noel Edmonds.
