Português: Em 1998 fui fotografar o ponto mais oriente do continente americano: a Ponta do Seixas, na Paraíba.
O lugar tinha se tornado um ponto turístico requisitado pra virada do ano já que é o primeiro local do Brasil a receber o nascer do sol. Durante essa pauta tirei a "Cristo Salva", capa superior da Folha de 26 de abril de 1998.English: In 1998 i went to photograph the eastern point of the american continent: the Ponta do Seixas, in Paraíba, Brazil. The spot became a touristic attraction for the new year celebration since it's the first place in Brazil that receives the new year sunrise.
During this report i've photographed the "Cristo Salva" (in english: Jesus Saves), which went to the cover of Folha de São Paulo months later. |
