Summary edit

Description One of Locomotive Service's Class 47 diesels, D1944 Craftsman, on a trip from Crewe to Bescot via Chester and Shrewsbury. I presume it's part of drivers' route familiarisation prior to the company's Saphos branded steam excursions. Having headed to Holyhead before Christmas the crew were now checking out the route through the Welsh Borders. More trips through Chirk are planned for the current week.
