English: Crofton Top Lock Lock 55, the top lock of the Crofton flight and, if heading uphill, the summit of the Kennet and Avon Canal. It is all downhill to Bristol from here. In the background are the abutments of the former railway line from Andover that crossed over the Berks and Hants line to the right and continued to Swindon. The bicycle is my lock wheeling transport. |
