Description
English: David Mandelkern, product marketing manager, and Roger Melen, co-founder of Cromemco, load Harry Garland's Cessna 206 (N124WN) for a flight to the Naval Air Weapons Station in China Lake for a Cromemco presentation there in 1982. The United States Navy was a major customer for Cromemco computers in the 1980's. Cromemco systems were the first commercially marketed microcomputers certified by the U.S. Navy for use aboard ships and Ohio class submarines.
