Summary
editDescriptionCross Canada 018 (4359488945).jpg | These salt pans are visible all across the prairies. Mineral salts dissolved in water rise to the surface where they are left behind when the water evapourates. The next rain will carry the salts back into the soil. They are one of the reasons why the prairies make such a fertile grain growing land. |
