Summary

Description
English: Crosscanonby Saltpans. Crosscanonby salt pans date from about 1650. The remains of the panners cottages can also be found nearby. Currently the pans are threatened by coastal erosion, but key structures are still visible, particularly when vegetation dies back in the winter.
