English: Crowden Outward Bound Centre. Coming down from Highstone Rocks into Crowden, one crosses the stile from Open Countryside into the grounds of the former outward bound centre. This magnificent building in its superb setting now,alas, stands empty and dilapidated. The tarmaced driveway goes to the left of the building and crosses a stout bridge across Crowden Brook just below the weir, thence past the farm buildings and out into Crowden and onto the A628. |
