Summary edit
DescriptionCrystals of dimethyl sulfoxide-d6.jpg |
English: Dimethyl sulfoxide in which all isotopes of hydrogen 1H (Protium) are replaced by 2H (Deuterium), is used for the analysis of substances by the NMR method. This substance has a melting point of 20 degrees Celsius and crystallizes from a liquid state just in a cold room, forming large layered needle-shaped crystals. Camera lens is directed inside the neck of the laboratory flask.
