| Description |
English: Culvert under the Horden to Blackhall Colliery road. This is the west end of the Castle Eden Burn culvert shown by Carol Rose 409073.
As she says, it is possible to walk through, on a walkway above water level, but it is not a particularly pleasant experience. The ground is uneven, the roof low in places and it is very dark. The path that goes up to the road then down the other side might suit those less adventurous (or just plain sensible). |
