Summary edit

Description
English: Cup marked rock This is one of getting on for a hundred cup-marked, or cup-and-ring-marked stones on Barningham Moor. I can't identify this one with any illustrated in the book "Prehistoric Rock Art of County Durham, Swaledale and Wensleydale", but this may just be that I failed to take a photo looking vertically down on it. As this is the first one of these stones I've actually managed to locate, a return with a GPS is required, but the day the photo was taken was a bit too wet and windy to take either the book or the laptop onto the moor.
