Wrestling 88 magazine was part of the same family of professional wrestling magazines as Pro Wrestling Illustrated (known as "Apter Mags"). Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) is still in publication as of today. PWI (seemingly) did not begin printing clear-cut copyright notices until the year 2000, when it began attributing its copyright to "London Publishing Co." Likewise, publications in the same family of magazines also failed to correctly assign copyright. Wrestling 88 does not correctly assert copyright anywhere within its pages.
