Summary edit

Description
English: Cushnahan Quay, Belfast I imagine the title of this picture might confuse a few.

Formerly Queen's Island Wharf, this now barren area was once used as the main unloading area for shipbuilding materials bound for Harland & Wolff. With all the old buildings demolished it is now destined to be a focus area for the 'Titanic Quarter' redevelopment in Belfast.

The wharf was renamed in honour of Frank Cushnahan who served as chairman of the Belfast Harbour Commissioners for eight years, steeping down in 2006. The wharf was renamed in December 2007 in keeping with a tradition whereby parts of the port are named after former chairmen.
