Description
Dansk: Cyclam, eller 1,4,8,11-tetraazadodecan, (NHCH2CH2NHCH2CH2CH2)2, med det nåleagtige udseende karakteristisk for stoffet. Stoffet syntetiseredes i henhold til forskriften i Inorganic syntheses (ed. Fred Basolo), vol. XVI, pp. 222-25. McGraw-Hill 1976; råproduktet omkrystalliseredes fra kloroform og klorbenzen to gange. Fotograferet 22. oktober 2015 på Københavns Universitet, Kemisk Institut.
English: Cyclam, or 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane, (NHCH2CH2NHCH2CH2CH2)2, with the needle-like appearance characteristic of the compound. The compound was synthesised by following the procedure from Inorganic syntheses (ed. Fred Basolo), vol. XVI, pp. 222-25. McGraw-Hill 1976; the raw product was recrystallised from chloroform and chlorobenzene twice. Photographed on October 22nd, 2015, at the University of Copenhagen, Department of Chemistry (Kemisk Institut).
