| Description |
English: Cyffordd Dyfi / Dovey Junction station Looking from the southwestern end of the platform along the Cambrian Coast Line towards Pwllheli on Penllŷn. The line crosses the Afon Dyfi on the viaduct in the centre of the image. The river is tidal here. There was a remarkably high traffic density on this occasion - a pair of Arriva trains between Aberystwyth and Birmingham International, the empty morning commuter service to Aberystwyth running back to the depot 594322 at Machynlleth and the West Coast Railways http://www.westcoastrailways.co.uk/Cambrian_Home.cfm excursion (steam) train 926312 from Machynlleth to Pwllheli, all within fifteen minutes or so. |
