Description
English: Awned flatsedge is a native bunched annual flatsedge of sandy to gravelly seasonally inundated substrates including along rivers. Stems are leafy and triangular in cross section, spikelets are born in capitate heads and with distichously arranged flower bracts where each of the bracts or scales measures 1.5 mm long, is prominently 7-9-veined, and has a spreading to reflexed tip.
