Object history
Deutsch: Der 1950 zur Stadt erhobene ehemalige Marktflecken legte im Jahre 1930 mit Beratung durch die Archivdirektion Stuttgart sein Wappen und seine Flagge fest. Das zur Unterbringung von drei Reihen der rot-goldenen Rauten aus dem Wappen der Grafen von Königsegg vergrößerte Schildhaupt soll an die hiesige Residenz dieses Geschlechtes erinnern. Das Flügelrad weist als Symbol der Eisenbahn auf die Bedeutung Aulendorfs als Verkehrsknotenpunkt und auf den Einfluss der Eisenbahnersiedlung auf die Stadtentwicklung hin.
