Deutsch: Das Buchenblatt und die Wellenleiste im vorderen Schildteil weisen als Symbole redend auf den Ortsnamen hin (frühere Schreibweise: Buochbach), die Brücke nimmt Bezug auf den Bachübergang am Ortseingang, wo früher das Hubergericht tagte. Der hintere Schildteil erinnert an die ehemalige Zugehörigkeit zum Herzogtum Simmern und zu Kurpfalz. Die Genehmigung zum Führen des Wappens wurde erteilt durch die Bezirksregierung Koblenz am 30. April 1981 unter Aktenzeichen 100-08.
