Deutsch: Im geteilten Schild oben in Silber (Weiß) ein wachsender blaubewehrter, gekrönter roter zwiegeschwänzter Löwe, der in seiner rechten Pranke ein silbernes (weißes) Schwert hält. Unten in Blau ein silbernes (weißes) fünfspeichiges Rad. Das Wappen hat seinen Ursprung in einem Siegel aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Es zeigt den Bergischen Löwen mit einem Schwert und im unteren Teil ein Mühlrad, welches für eine alte Wassermühle an der Wupper steht.
