Deutsch: „Gespalten durch eine eingeschweifte rote Spitze, darin ein mit vier Spitzen versehenes goldenes (gelbes) O, in dem ein goldenes (gelbes) E schwebt, vorne in Schwarz ein linksgewendeter rot gekrönter und rot bewehrter goldener (gelber) steigender Löwe, hinten schräggerautet (-geweckt) von Silber (Weiß) und Blau.“
English: „Per pale sable a crowned, armed and langued gules lion rampant Or sinister and bendy lozengy Argent and azure, enté en point gules, the four-topped letter "O" Or, therein the couped letter "E" Or.”

Object history
Deutsch: Das Wappen entstammt einem Siegel von 1543, welches zusätzlich eine Äbtissin und die Initiale "H" mit Krummstab zeigte. Seit 1560 wurde letztere durch O und E ersetzt (für den früheren Ortsnamen Oedigkoben). Es wurde 1938 vom bayerischen Reichsstatthalter, zu dem die Pfalz früher gehörte, verliehen und erneut durch das Rheinland-Pfälzische Innenministerium am 6. Oktober 1952. Es zeigt den pfälzischen Löwen und die bayerischen Wecken auch Rauten genannt.
English: The arms were first granted in 1938. The ist derived from the oldest seal of Edenkoben dated from 1543. The seal showed lion of Palatinate (lion) and and the bavarian lozengy shield and the symbols of the cistercian convent of Heilsbruck with a letter H and a crozier. In 1560 the seal changed and showed (for the letter H) the letter O around an E, for the old name Oedigkoben.
