Deutsch: Das Wappen entstammt einem Gerichtssiegel von 1429. Der Löwe steht für den Heiligen Marcus, dieser hielt das Patrozinium des Ortes inne. Die Tingierung entspricht der des Wappens des Kurfürstentums Mainz. Die Zeichnung stammt von Heinz Ritt.
