Deutsch: Das rote Balkenkreuz auf silbernem Grund verweist auf die ehemalige Zugehörigkeit zum Kurfürstentum Trier. Das grüne Heidekraut mit roten Blüten ist das Symbol für die Namensgebung des Ortes. Auf eingeschobenem grünen Grund ein goldener Pflug mit einer silbernen Pflugschar als Zeichen der ehemaligen Existenzgrundlage, der Landwirtschaft.
