Deutsch: Die Gestaltung und Zeichnung stammen von Heinz Ritt. Der Löwe steht für die Grafen von Katzenelnbogen, die über den Ort lange herrschten. Der Helm steht für die Römer, deren Limes am Ort entlangläuft und die in der Nähe ein Kleinkastell errichteten. Die Teilung des Schildes bildet ein "H" für Huppert.
