Deutsch: Der Jungfrauenadler stammt aus dem Wappen der Herrscherfamilie Cirksena, die Sporenrädlein sind aus dem Wappen der Häuptlingsfamilie Idzinga, aus dem sie auch die Familie Cirksena übernahm, und der Löwe kommt aus dem Wappen der Familie Beninga zu Grimersum. Der Wellenbalken symbolisiert die zahlreichen Wasserwege der Region. English: The virgin eagle comes from the coat of arms of the ruling family Cirksena, the sporerädlein are from the coat of arms of the chief family Idzinga, from which she also took over the Cirksena family, and the lion comes from the coat of arms of the Beninga family in Grimersum. The wave beam symbolizes the numerous waterways of the region. |
