Object history
Deutsch: Die am 1. Januar 1972 aus der Vereinigung von sechs Orten hervorgegangene neue Gemeinde Kupferzell nahm das 1957 entstandene Wappen ihrer gleichnamigen Vorgängerin, das hauptsächlich auf ein Dorfwappen von 1894 zurückgeht, wieder auf. Während der hohenlohesche „Leopard" im Schildhaupt die allen Gemeindeteilen gemeinsamen historischen Beziehungen zum Hause Hohenlohe anspricht, bezieht sich die Kirche (Zelle) auf den Gemeindenamen. Das Landratsamt Hohenlohekreis hat der neuen Gemeinde am 27. Februar 1976 das Wappen und die Flagge verliehen.
