Object history |
English: Both bend wavy and fountain symbolise as canting symbols the river Lauter and its spring in the village (also other springs). The abie and the fountain were symbols of the former arms of Oberlauter. The flaming heart is derived from former arms of Unterlauter. The colours sable and vert are the colours of the House of Wettin and remember together with colours vert and Argent from the duchy of Saxe-Coburg on the former sovereigns. |
