Deutsch: Das Wappen der Stadt Mayen stellt das rote kurtrierische Kreuz mit Mittelrippe auf silbernem Grund dar. In den durch das Kreuz gebildeten Feldern befindet sich im rechten oberen und linken unteren Feld je ein roter Schlüssel; der Schlüsselbart steht oben und weist nach links. In den beiden übrigen Feldern ist je ein grüner Baum (Maibaum-Buche) abgebildet.
