Blazon InfoField | Deutsch: Die beiden Pfeile sind das Attribut des heiligen Sebastian, dem die 1717 erbaute Kirche in Neuendorf geweiht ist. Das Schälmesser erinnert an die über dreihundertjährige Tradition des Fassreifenschneidens und der Holzbearbeitung in Neuendorf. Der Zinnenschnitt weist auf das ehemalige Kloster Schönrain hin, das als Burgruine erhalten ist. Das Kloster wurde um 1080 gegründet und nach dem Bauernkrieg 1525 aufgehoben und an die Grafen von Rieneck verkauft. Sie nutzten es als Schloss und Amtssitz. Die Farben Gold und Rot sind dem gräflichen Wappen entnommen. |
