Deutsch: Seit dem Mittelalter gehörte Nonnenhorn zur Herrschaft Wasserburg. Im Jahr 1592 erwarben die Grafen Fugger von Kirchberg-Weißenhorn die Herrschaft. Daran erinnern die Farben Gold und Blau aus dem Stammwappen der Fugger. Die Nonne steht redend für den Ortsnamen. Obwohl 926 angeblich Klosterfrauen von Nonnenhorn nach Wasserburg kamen, leitet sich der Ortsname eher von dem Personennamen Nuno ab. Das Füllhorn mit Weintraube, Birne und Apfel weist auf den Obstanbau und den Weinbau im Gemeindegebiet. |
